Voices Of Our World
Summer 2025
The Church experienced a momentous Easter season with the passing of Pope Francis and election of Pope Leo XIV as our new Holy Father — a pope from the United States! In our Summer 2025 Vocation Newsletter, Father Rodrigo reflects upon the gift that Pope Francis meant to us as Maryknoll missioners and the example he set for those discerning a call to missionary priesthood or brotherhood. Three of our Maryknoll priests also comment on the election of Pope Leo XIV with joy and hope; they share a common bond with Pope Leo XIV as graduates of Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. We look back, with a collage of photos, on our Holy Week Missionary Discernment Retreat in El Paso, Texas. And, we announce our Fall “Come & See” Retreat, October 17th – 19th, Chicago, IL, for men discerning priesthood or brotherhood. Please consider joining us for it!
