The role of the Registered Nurse is to care for patients with compassion and respect due to the inherent dignity of the individual regardless of social, economic status, personal attributes or the nature of their health problem.
- Advocate for all Members as needed to protect their wishes as well as their health and well-being.
- Oversight and appropriate delegation of duties to Licensed Practical Nurses and ancillary staff.
- Documentation: Subjective and objective assessment of Members health condition and coordination of a nursing plan of care
- Collaboration and coordination of Members care with the care team (physicians, LPNs, nursing assistants, social work, activities, appointment coordinators)
- Education of Members and staff on medical conditions, procedures and medications.
- Initiates treatments per doctors order and evaluates and documents outcomes
- Administration of medications and treatments per MD order.
Essential Services Personnel: are expected to report to work under all circumstances including inclement weather-related conditions, holidays, etc. They are to adhere to the shift schedules established by their supervisors or as directed by them.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree with current valid NYS license, including all certification necessary for a renewal as required by NYS.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a long term care setting.
- CPR certification.
- Working knowledge of infection control practices, including but not limited to Flu and COVID, and other infectious disease response protocols and planning.
- Must be computer literate (EHR/Microsoft Office).
- Experience with palliative care and/or hospice care preferred.
- Proficiency in initiating and maintaining IV therapy treatment as ordered by the Physician, or willingness to learn within 6 months required.

Job Description:
Reporting directly to the Director, Office of Society Personnel assists the Director of the Office in addressing personnel issues of Society Members. Assists with advising and implementing best practices for the psychological, spiritual and physical welfare of the Members of the Society. Assists the Office of Society Personnel Director with the compliance of Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers with standards of proper ministerial practice and assists in addresses complaints/allegations of improper practice.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Clinical Psychologist with current valid NYS license, including all certification necessary for a renewal as required by NYS. Master’s degree in Psychology.
- Minimum of five years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist
- Experience assisting individuals with addictions, stress, trauma, sexual issues and other such conditions
- Aware of recent trends in mental health care
- Audit preparation experience.
- Familiar with mental health services for religious organizations is a plus
- Familiar with Praesidium Standards for Religious Institutes is a plus
- Experience assisting survivors of child sexual abuse is a plus
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
- An understanding and respect for the multicultural mission context of Maryknoll and the character of men’s religious communities in the Roman Catholic Church.

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Manager to work Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
- Use of nursing, leadership and administrative experience to plan, oversee and be responsible for the delivery of care in both Skilled Nursing and Health Services Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:00pm.
- Excellent work environment with focus on safe staffing levels and staff engagement.
- Use of Maryknoll provided phone in order for staff to have 24/7 access to Manager.
- Oversight of (60+) Nursing staff including supervisors, charge nurses, staff nurses and nursing assistants to insure adherence to current facility policies and procedures.
- Collaboration with Nursing Supervisors to implement regular staff meetings, case presentations and in-services.
- Conduct Nursing Supervisors and Charge Nurses performance evaluations.
- Maintenance of quality assurance measures through review, audit and oversight.
- Oversight of clinical care and operations.
- Collaboration with the nursing staff and medical team to insure continuity of care.
- Respond to all reports of staff misconduct with verbal or written warnings to insure safe, respectful and productive atmosphere.
- Respond to all reports of concerning resident or visitor conduct to insure safety to residents, staff and other visitors to building.
- Work with Nursing Supervisors to monitor and maintain safe staffing levels.
Qualifications:
- RN with current unencumbered New York State License. BSN or related bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Registered Nurse within an acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing and/or long term care setting with at least 2 years as a Nursing Supervisor, Manager, or equivalent position.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills with demonstrated ability to mentor, influence, and motivate unit staff.

We are seeking a full-time Regional Representative Bilingual (English/Spanish) - North and Latin America to work in our Maryknoll, NY location Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm.
The Regional Representative – cultivates, stewards, and solicits Spanish-speaking major gift prospects and identifies and qualifies new major gift prospects. The Regional Representative is required, as needed, to travel and organize events to meet Spanish-speaking donors throughout the United States and Latin America and make presentations in both English and Spanish.
- Cultivate, solicit, and steward current major gift donors and identify and qualify new major gift prospects.
- Travel, as needed, to visit significant donors and prospects.
- Manage a portfolio of 100 major donors and at least 25 major donor prospects.
- Oversee and monitor research analysis of existing and prospective donors.
- Develop individual (customized) strategies for solicitation and inspiration of donors.
- Develop long and short-range plans for donor interaction with donors assigned to them to achieve goals.
- Work with Maryknoll Society Members to inspire, steward, and solicit major donors.
- Record and submit monthly reports on all activities and update Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers’ CRM (Portfolio) with relevant data. Submit monthly expense reports with required documentation. Participate in all required meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3-5 years of experience in major gift fundraising
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. Native fluency in spoken Spanish and ability to write for a professional audience.
- Must be an effective self-starter with excellent project management skills.
- Experience identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major and planned gifts from high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and other institutional donors.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cooperative team environment.

Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers seeks a full-time Audit & Financial Compliance Sr. Manager. This position monitors and ensures timely identification of and compliance with evolving accounting guidance and provides US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) interpretation. This position serves as primary contact for external auditor or other outside consultants in the coordination of annual audit of the Maryknoll Society as well as several Trusts. The manager will implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements. The manager will ensure accounting policies and procedures are followed and communicate any internal control deficiencies or areas of risk to the Director of Accounting and Internal Auditor. The manager will act as the project manager for technology system initiatives undertaken for the Accounting unit and participate in other accounting projects or initiatives that require accounting expertise. The manager will be responsible for contract reviews to ensure the protection of Maryknoll assets and adherence to Maryknoll policy, governmental laws and accounting regulations.
Essential Requirements:
- Professional designations: CPA required.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required and a minor in I.T. a plus.
- 5-10 years industry and management experience.
- Not-for-profit experience preferred.
- Experience in designing, implementing and auditing financial processes, systems and controls.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, auditing standards and business process analysis required.
- Excellent analytical, project management, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.

The Mission Region Accounting Supervisor will work as a part of a team and will manage all financial operations for the overseas Mission Regions and Units. This position will include a variety of responsibilities, from oversight of all general ledger activity to the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, remittances and related analysis for management. This position will also oversee the preparation of the annual budget for the Mission Regions. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for supervising one accounting staff member, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring that internal practices are adhered to and efficiently implemented.
- Review and analyze financial statements of the Mission Regions and Units.
- Effectively communicate and advise overseas Superiors and subordinates on all financial matters.
- Oversee timely and accurate financial report submission for Mission Regions and Units.
- Review and approve monthly remittances, Members payroll schedule, bank reconciliations, etc.
- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly analysis reports.
- Coordinate, supervise, review, and report on the annual budget for Mission Regions and Units.
- Apostolic Project Committee member.
- Research, document and report on “Special Projects” as directed by Leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
- 3-4 years of solid accounting experience.

- Experience with international locations including an understanding of foreign currency preferred.

Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers seeks a Direct Response Unit Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the Society's direct response marketing, developing strategy, and leading and supporting staff. In collaboration with the Major & Planned Giving Unit, the Direct Response Unit works within the Mission Advancement Department. It is responsible for inspiring, maintaining, and upgrading existing donors and acquiring new ones to support Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers. The Direct Response Unit Manager is expected to develop a comprehensive, multichannel relationship-building program, including cultivation and communication while recommending short and long-range direct response plans and programs that include directing all activities, programs, and personnel within the Direct Response Unit. Maximize direct response income through direct mail, digital cultivation, and other direct response fundraising techniques. Monitor, evaluate, and report on all direct mail fundraising initiatives. Develop and recommend alternative fundraising and cultivation programs. Coordinate graphics, printing, and acquisition programs with outside vendors as needed.
Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement multi-channel direct mail fundraising strategies aligned with Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers' mission to acquire, retain, and upgrade donors.
- Create compelling campaigns that resonate with Catholic donors, ensuring alignment with Church social teachings.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors (copywriters, designers, mail houses) to execute compelling donor appeals.
- Segment donor lists for targeted and personalized mail campaigns to optimize response rates.
- Manage multiple direct mail appeals, including seasonal campaigns (e.g., Lenten, Advent, Year-End Giving).
Donor Engagement & Fundraising
- Craft compelling donor messaging to foster engagement and deepen connections with Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers.
- Utilize segmentation strategies to tailor appeals to different donor audiences, including major donors, monthly givers, and lapsed donors.
- Implement strategies to improve donor retention, reactivation, and lifetime value.
- Coordinate follow-up communications (email, digital, phone) to enhance direct mail effectiveness.
Analytics & Performance Optimization
- Track and analyze campaign performance, measuring key metrics such as response rates, average gifts, and ROI.
- Conduct A/B and other testing on messaging, formats, and mailing schedules to optimize results.
- Provide regular reports and insights to leadership, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent experience.
- CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) and ACFRE (Advanced Certified Fundraising Executive) preferred.
- Minimum 10-15 years of substantial and proven related, non-profit fundraising experience, with an extensive focus on direct mail.
- Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory/management experience.
- Proven strategic planning development success is required; ideally with experience in raising funds in the Catholic arena.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective in cross functional collaboration with solid interpersonal skills.
- Highly proficient in project management with proven success in leveraging donor databases to identify growth opportunities, goal development, target audience selection, tracking and evaluation, planning, organizing and directing.
- Experienced in the use of all digital marketing tools (websites, email, and social media).
