For more information visit: www.maryknollsociety.org We are searching for a C.N.A. or HHA experienced in long-term care who will be responsible for delivering hands on patient care under the direct supervision of the Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse. • Collaborates with nursing staff and Society members to ensure efficient care delivery based on member, unit and facility needs. • Utilizes knowledge of Society member’s age and cultural diversity as it relates to the provision of care. • At the direction of Director/DON/Charge Nurse travels/accompanies Society Members who are sent out via Ambulance or need assistance at external care facilities. • Relays pertinent information to hospital personnel and information from the hospital to the Nurse Supervisor/Nurse regarding care and or staff when relieved. • Ensure safety of Society members, assist with their needs, advocate and communicate status with above. • Must have C.N.A. or HHA certification • Must be experienced in Long Term Geriatric care or have comparable experience. • Must have a valid driver’s license and comply with Maryknoll policy regarding driving a Society vehicle. • Must have a High diploma, maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA requirements. Job Description:

Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers,a non-profit known as the Catholic Foreign Mission Society of America, is looking for a Mission Region Accounting Supervisor.

The Mission Region Accounting Supervisor will work as a part of a team and will manage all financial operations for the overseas Mission Regions and Units. This position will include a variety of responsibilities, from oversight of all general ledger activity to the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, remittances and related analysis for management. This position will also oversee the preparation of the annual budget for the Mission Regions. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for supervising one accounting staff member, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring that internal practices are adhered to and efficiently implemented. 
  • Review and analyze financial statements of the Mission Regions and Units.
  • Effectively communicate and advise overseas Superiors and subordinates on all financial matters.
  • Oversee timely and accurate financial report submission for Mission Regions and Units.
  • Review and approve monthly remittances, Members payroll schedule, bank reconciliations, etc.
  • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly analysis reports.
  • Coordinate, supervise, review, and report on the annual budget for Mission Regions and Units.
  • Apostolic Project Committee member.
  • Research, document and report on “Special Projects” as directed by Leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.  
  • 3-4 years of solid accounting experience.
  • Not-for-profit experience preferred.
  • Experience with international locations including an understanding of foreign currency preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Strong computer skills. Proficiency in MS Office and QuickBooks. 
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to complete job responsibilities with minimal assistance and the ability to identify when help is needed.
  • Able to work in team environment and must be comfortable working in a result oriented environment requiring overtime (on an as needed basis) and the meeting of fixed deadlines.

Salary: $65,000 - $67,000 per year

We are seeking a full-time Regional Representative Bilingual (English/Spanish) - North and Latin America to work in our Maryknoll, NY location Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm.

Job Summary:

The Regional Representative – cultivates, stewards, and solicits Spanish-speaking major gift prospects and identifies and qualifies new major gift prospects. The Regional Representative is required, as needed, to travel and organize events to meet Spanish-speaking donors throughout the United States and Latin America and make presentations in both English and Spanish.

  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward current major gift donors and identify and qualify new major gift prospects.
  • Travel, as needed, to visit significant donors and prospects.
  • Manage a portfolio of 100 major donors and at least 25 major donor prospects.
  • Oversee and monitor research analysis of existing and prospective donors.
  • Develop individual (customized) strategies for solicitation and inspiration of donors.
  • Develop long and short-range plans for donor interaction with donors assigned to them to achieve goals.
  • Work with Maryknoll Society Members to inspire, steward, and solicit major donors.
  • Record and submit monthly reports on all activities and update Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers’ CRM (Portfolio) with relevant data. Submit monthly expense reports with required documentation. Participate in all required meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in major gift fundraising
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.  Native fluency in spoken Spanish and ability to write for a professional audience. 
  • Must be an effective self-starter with excellent project management skills.
  • Experience identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major and planned gifts from high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and other institutional donors.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cooperative team environment.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of completing assignments

We are seeking a full-time Regional Representative Individual and Institutional Giving to work in our Maryknoll, NY location Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm.

Job Summary:

The Regional Representative - Individual and Institutional Giving is responsible for executing the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers’ fundraising efforts from individual donors and institutional funders, including foundations, corporations, and government agencies. This dual-focus role requires a strategic and dynamic fundraising professional who can cultivate and steward relationships with diverse supporters.

  • Grant Writing and Management: Research and identify potential institutional funders, including foundations, corporations, and government agencies whose priorities align with the organization’s mission. Write and submit compelling grant proposals and funding requests, ensuring alignment with funder guidelines and organizational needs. Manage the grant reporting process, including tracking deadlines, gathering data, and preparing narrative and financial reports for funders.
  • Individual Giving: Cultivate, solicit, and steward current individual major gift donors and identify and qualify new major gift prospects. Travel, as needed, to visit significant donors and prospects. Manage a portfolio of fifty major donors and ten prospects (these numbers may decrease over time as the MGO’s institutional giving portfolio expands).

We are seeking a Safety/Security Officer to join our Security Services team. Schedule will be 12am-8am every weekend or every other weekend.
Responsible for providing and enforcing all Security/Safety measures and services to all Maryknoll Society Members, Residents, Employees, Guests and Facilities assets. Conduct safety and Detex tours of all buildings and property; report all inefficiencies. Respond to all 911/ADT emergency calls, fire alarm activations, and file a clear and accurate written incident report. Ability to read, navigate and identify specific alarm locations on the fire alarm panels with complete fluency and the capability to respond to the location of the alarm to evaluate and acknowledge. Ability to work the Seminary Security Front Desk/ Phone Console operations. Perform Front Desk tasks and responsibilities. Perform, inspect and document the life safety devices, equipment and procedures. Proactive in the prevention of theft, vandalism, fire and accidents. Monitor and control access into buildings by authorized personnel. Must be professional and courteous and have excellent analytical, communication & interpersonal skills. Computer proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite is required. On call and present for weather related emergencies. High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid NYS Driver’s License & NYS Security License are required within 6 months.

Salary: $19.00 per hour plus a 10% shift differential.
