Who We Are:

Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers – also known as the Catholic Foreign Mission Society of America, Inc. – was founded in 1911 with the support of the Bishops of the United States to be the chief mission outreach of the Catholic Church in the United States.  We currently serve in 20 countries worldwide – especially among the poor. 

Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers seeks a passionate Music Instructor to join our team at Maryknoll Fathers & Brothers to teach our Seminarians how to play piano and guitar.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Develop and implement engaging music curriculum tailored to diverse student needs.
• Teach piano and guitar lessons.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their musical abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Music preferred.
• Proven experience as a Music Instructor or similar role.
• Effective at teaching piano and guitar lessons to adult students. Ideally, we’d like one instructor to teach both piano and guitar but will consider two different instructors.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to foster a positive and encouraging teaching environment.

Hourly Rate: $35.00 per hour
