Job Description:
Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers is seeking a Part-time Administrative Assistant for our Church Appeals Program. Primary responsibilities include providing administrative, programmatic and record keeping support to the Church Appeal Program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Documenting Church Appeals, including written and oral communication with archdioceses/dioceses and parishes. Submitting applications and other materials required for Mission Appeals. Accurately completing Church Date Forms and emailing to whomever will be conducting the appeal. Accurately completing and mailing parish Church Appeal confirmation letters and Mission Office letters. Following up on Church Appeals to be sure that pastor packets are sent out in a timely manner. Emailing accurate Bulletin Announcements to parishes. Obtaining Suitability Letters as needed.
- Processing and preparing for Church Appeals: including ordering, maintaining and shipping supplies; providing support for missioners (assist in travel and accommodation arrangements, when necessary serve as contact person between parish and missioner, ensure that missioner has diocesan requirements and standards for conduct of appeals); depositing collections and donations with Cashiers Dept.; processing of envelopes and donor requests; processing “bill me” donors; correspondence with parishes (confirmation letters, reminder letters and “thank you” letters) and any other tasks necessary for Church Appeals.
- Maintaining and updating records and reports for the Church Appeals in filed hard copies and in respective computer programs including the Church Date Calendar; updating the Church Date Calendar as needed; generating reports upon request from database.
- Record keeping: Administrative support for accounting and record keeping: Processing receipts from donors, Church Appeals, parish mission and mission education opportunities, including data entry.
- Assists in completing credit card expense reports, stipend requests and check requests.
- Processing requests from Society Members regarding their Mission and Personal Accounts.
- Filing and maintaining documents and records as required by the Society policies; and producing reports required by the Finance Department.
- Other general office duties, including, mail, correspondence, inventory, vendor contact, research, etc. Participating in ongoing training, meetings and formation related to the job.
This is a Part time non-exempt position. Schedule is Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 2:00pm.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Additional formal education in office management is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of administrative experience
- Ability to use and operate efficiently the office equipment, including telephone, copy machine, adding machine, telephone, and fax machine.
- High level of proficiency using a computer (including excellent keyboarding skills) and specific experience and training with desktop programs, internet and web-based programs, including Microsoft Office Products, Google Products, Facebook, Constant Contact, Go To Meetings, etc.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Previous expense report experience is preferred.
- Good organizational skills, including maintaining files and documents.
- Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills, including strong command of English language and grammar (with similar fluency in Spanish preferred, but not required).
- Self-confident, personable, diplomatic, and able to establish and maintain contacts with a diverse variety of organizations and individuals.
- Self-motivated, flexible, resourceful and able to work alone, as well as able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Familiarity and comfort with Catholic Church culture, structure and customary ways of communicating with bishops, clergy, religious and diocesan officials.
- Openness to becoming familiar with Maryknoll Society’s Mission Vision Statement and Strategic Mission Plan and readiness to accomplish all tasks accordingly.
Hourly Rate: $25.00 per hour

Job Description:
Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers is seeking a Custodian/Mover to work Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm. A Custodian/Mover is responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Perform general cleaning of offices, bathrooms, corridors, stairwells, etc. in addition to moving furniture and other heavy objects.
- Prepare rooms and areas for special events.
- Work on special set-ups and cleaning projects.
- Help with daily set-up.
- Maintenance and order of custodial closet and equipment.
- Communicate effectively.
- Read and follow instructions of manuals and Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers policies.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Required to work occasional weekends (about 10 major events a year) and overtime as needed.
- Required to be on call as per schedule or as needed.
This is an Essential Services Personnel position. Essential Services Personnel are expected to report to work under all circumstances including inclement weather-related conditions, holidays, etc. They are to adhere to the shift schedules established by their supervisors or as directed by them.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in institutional cleaning.
- Blood borne pathogens trained.
- Understanding of airborne substances and the proper handling and disposal of bio-hazardous waste.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Must be detail oriented and flexible; ability to switch priorities as needed.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of floor maintenance techniques and supplies (vacuuming, stripping, waxing, buffering shampooing carpets); ability to operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment.
- Knowledge of cleaning materials and how to use them safely and efficiently.
- Must be able to lift and handle items up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional overtime, including weekends as scheduled by the Supervisor.
Hourly Rate: $17.95 per hour

- Direct the daily supervision of Donor Services staff, including training and annual reviews

Qualifications:

- Bilingual in English/Spanish (verbal and written) is required.
- Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills are essential.

catechetical, and pastoral ministry at the parish, diocesan, and campus levels.
Represent Maryknoll in regional and national networks and events.
Formation Leadership: Develop and facilitate mission formation events—including
workshops, retreats, parish missions, and online classes—especially for those
forming others in the faith.
Immersion Experiences: Design and lead international and domestic immersion trips in collaboration with faith formation programs, including all stages of trip preparation, facilitation, and post-trip reflection.
Resource Development: Create and promote engaging mission-focused print and digital materials tailored to the needs of formation and pastoral leaders.
Vocational Promotion: Integrate vocational awareness into all ministry activities and

Job Overview
We are seeking an individual to will assist the Master Electrician and the Trades Technician while learning a trade. This position will work with other trades. Main responsibilities are to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and communications systems. The ideal candidate will work closely under the supervision of experienced technicians, assisting in daily tasks related to electrical wiring, cabling, and network infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Assist in the installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical wiring, lighting systems, and communications cabling.
· Pull, terminate, and organize data and fiber optic cables.
· Set up and dismantle tools, equipment, and materials at job sites.
· Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas.
· Assist in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
· Handle tools and test equipment safely and correctly.
· Identify and report issues to senior technicians or supervisors.
· Support basic troubleshooting of electrical and communication systems.
· Adhere to all relevant safety standards and company policies.
· May be required to assist with ceremonial and burial preparations
· Outside ground assignments may also be required, do snow/ice maintenance (i.e. shovel, salt, etc.).
· Ability to work outside of normal working hours when requested (overtime for emergencies, in climate weather conditions, power outages etc., and for after hour events and programs as needed
Must have a valid NYS Drivers License

The role of the Licensed Practical Nurse under the direction of the Registered Nurse is to care for patients with compassion and respect due to the inherent dignity of the individual regardless of social, economic status, personal attributes or the nature of their health problem.
- Advocate for all Members as needed to protect their wishes as well as their health and well-being.
- Performance of tasks within LPN Scope 0f Practice as directed by the Registered Nurse
- Collaboration and coordination of Members care under the direction of the Registered Nurse with the care team (physicians, nursing assistants, social work, activities, appointment coordinators)
- Provision of direct patient care, medication administration, treatments, gather vital signs, and report symptoms that can be used by the RN in making decisions about the nursing care of specific patients.

The Position

Join our Catholic international advocacy organization as a Digital Media Specialist and play a key role in amplifying our mission. We're seeking a creative and dedicated individual to manage and produce compelling digital content across various platforms, helping us advocate for justice and peace worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Management: Develop, produce, and manage engaging content for our social media channels, website, magazine, and CRM platform, ensuring alignment with our organizational mission and advocacy goals.
- Social Media Strategy: Implement and evolve our social media strategy, including daily posting, community engagement, and performance analysis to maximize reach and impact.
- Website Management: Update website content using WordPress, ensuring accuracy and a user-friendly experience.
- Email Marketing: Design, edit, and produce bi-monthly e-newsletter and weekly action alerts, managing subscriber lists and analyzing campaign performance within our CRM.
- Report & Brief Production: Assist in the editing and production of bimonthly newsletter, occasional reports and two-page briefs using Indesign, ensuring high-quality presentation and clear messaging.
- Video Production: Produce and edit short videos for various digital platforms, from concept to final delivery.
- Platform Management: Utilize and optimize our digital tools, including WordPress, Canva, Salsa Labs CRM, Microsoft Office 365, and Google Apps, to streamline workflows and enhance content delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with program teams to ensure consistent messaging and integrated digital campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in communications, journalism, or related field; and 5+ years work experience in a comparable setting.
- Experience in digital content creation and management, with portfolio showing your work on social media, web, and email.
- Proficiency in WordPress website content management system.
- Expertise in Canva for graphic design and visual content creation.
- Experience with CRM platform for email marketing and constituent management.
- Strong command of MS 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail).
- Demonstrated experience with video production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and strong editorial abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- A clear understanding of, and respect for, the Maryknoll mission as well as for international Catholic social justice advocacy.
- International experience and Spanish language speaking and writing skills a strong plus.
- Openness to occasional international travel to learn more about the Maryknoll mission.

The role of the Registered Nurse is to care for patients with compassion and respect due to the inherent dignity of the individual regardless of social, economic status, personal attributes or the nature of their health problem.
- Advocate for all Members as needed to protect their wishes as well as their health and well-being.
- Oversight and appropriate delegation of duties to Licensed Practical Nurses and ancillary staff.
- Documentation: Subjective and objective assessment of Members health condition and coordination of a nursing plan of care
- Collaboration and coordination of Members care with the care team (physicians, LPNs, nursing assistants, social work, activities, appointment coordinators)
- Education of Members and staff on medical conditions, procedures and medications.
- Initiates treatments per doctors order and evaluates and documents outcomes
- Administration of medications and treatments per MD order.
Essential Services Personnel: are expected to report to work under all circumstances including inclement weather-related conditions, holidays, etc. They are to adhere to the shift schedules established by their supervisors or as directed by them.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree with current valid NYS license, including all certification necessary for a renewal as required by NYS.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a long term care setting.
- CPR certification.
- Working knowledge of infection control practices, including but not limited to Flu and COVID, and other infectious disease response protocols and planning.
- Must be computer literate (EHR/Microsoft Office).
- Experience with palliative care and/or hospice care preferred.
- Proficiency in initiating and maintaining IV therapy treatment as ordered by the Physician, or willingness to learn within 6 months required.
