In October we accepted another new seminarian to our Initial Formation Program and it is with pleasure that we welcome Josephat Odundo to Maryknoll! This brings the number of men admitted to Maryknoll in 2020 to 4 and the total number of Seminarian and Brother Candidates to 18.
Josephat is 27 years old and comes to us from Kenya with a bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology
The Church experienced a momentous Easter season with the passing of Pope Francis and election of Pope Leo XIV as our new Holy Father — a pope from the United States! In our Summer 2025 Vocation Newsletter, Father Rodrigo reflects upon the gift that Pope Francis meant to us as Maryknoll missioners and the example he set for those discerning a call to missionary priesthood or brotherhood.
ABOUT MARYKNOLL
We are a Catholic Society of priests and brothers based in the United States. We are dedicated to missionary work overseas in over 20 countries. Additionally, we animate Catholics in the United States to follow their own baptismal call to share God’s compassion and love with the poor, the sick, and all those in need.
