Empowering Vulnerable Families Through Small-Scale Pig Farming

Empowering Vulnerable Families Through Small-Scale Pig Farming

A small investment can transform a family’s future. In Homabay County, Kenya, Maryknoll is helping vulnerable families build sustainable livelihoods through pig farming. Participants receive piglets, training, feed, and veterinary support, giving them the tools needed to generate income and provide nutritious food for their children. Many beneficiaries are women, youth, or individuals with disabilities who face significant barriers to economic opportunity. As families succeed, they share their knowledge and resources with others, creating a ripple effect that strengthens the entire community. Your support helps families move from survival to self-sufficiency while creating lasting hope for future generations.
