In the rural community of Villa 14 in Chipiriri, Bolivia, the Catholic faith remains a vital source of hope and unity despite significant economic challenges. While the community is deeply engaged in parish life and eager to grow both spiritually and socially, parishioners have long lacked a fully completed place of worship. Most families are small-scale farmers who struggle to meet their daily needs, yet they have made remarkable sacrifices to build a church that reflects their strong faith and commitment to their community. Maryknoll is helping complete the construction and furnishing of the church while supporting the ongoing development of parish ministries that serve the wider community. The parish is also blessed by the presence of the Catechist Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, who provide catechism classes, hospital ministry, children’s meal programs, and pastoral outreach. Your support helps create a permanent spiritual home where families can gather in prayer, receive the sacraments, and strengthen the faith that sustains their community.
