We are looking for a motivated Senior Internal Auditor to assist the Manager of Internal Audit in promoting the value of Internal Audit within Maryknoll by providing strategic thinking to the audit process, identifying areas of risk and noncompliance, creating solutions to improve efficiencies within key business processes, and bring analytical skills to the forefront of every Internal Audit project. As Senior Internal Auditor, you will have the opportunity to be involved in the audit process from start to finish helping develop and review the audit plan, assess areas of risk within Maryknoll, prepare and execute scheduled and ad-hoc audits, report on improvements in business processes to senior management and provide consulting to various business units on financial, IT and operational processes. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills (oral and written), be able to work independently, have good critical thinking skills, excellent technical skills in using data analysis software such as Galvanize (ACL), IDEA or Tableau, and good time management skills.
Ideal candidate must be able to:
- Collaborate with Internal Auditor on development and changes to audit plan
- Assist the Manager of Internal Auditor in performing periodic risk assessments at business unit level and organization wide level
- Plan and perform financial, operational and IT compliance audits
- Responsible for documenting audit procedures using audit management software
- Identify the root causes of control failures or areas of improvements and recommend corrective actions
- Review controls over information technology in areas such as data security (access), systems development and implementation, and business system capabilities
- Maintain electronic audit documentation (using data analysis software) and evidence to support findings and recommendations
- Communicate findings, opportunities and observations to all levels of management
- Assist in the implementation of automated audit techniques to improve audit efficiencies
- Update Internal Audit Manual policies and procedures based on evolving audit work performed
- Provide periodic training and consulting services to business units on compliance, fraud prevention and/or other financial and IT-related areas
- Perform special audits, investigations, and/or ad-hoc projects as assigned by the General Council or Audit Committee
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Information Systems, Economics or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Internal Audit or related audit consulting and/or advisory engagements
- Certification or certification in progress as one of the following: CIA(Certified Internal Auditor), CFE(Certified Fraud Examiner), CISA(Certified Information Systems Auditor), CRMA(Certified Risk Management Assurance) etc. required
- Strong proficiency in internal auditing principles and best practices
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of IIA Standards

We are seeking a full-time Administrative Coordinator to join our Mission Formation Program team in Chicago, IL. The work schedule will be Monday - Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm.
Successful candidates will have strong organizational and communication skills and be self-motivated, organized, resourceful, and flexible in support of mission education and promotion programs and projects locally and nationally, particularly with young adults, Hispanic leaders, and Frontline Parish and Diocesan Ministers.
Duties include assisting with public outreach and communication in diverse church-related environments, including coordinating social media, marketing email, content editing, resource development, event planning, report preparation, project management, CRM utilization, etc.. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with technological tools including Google Workspace, HubSpot, Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook, BaseCamp, Canva, Zoom, Facebook/Instagram, etc. Familiarity with the Catholic Church and working with young adults, Hispanic leaders, teachers, and catechists is preferred.

Maryknoll serves the Roman Catholic Church locally in the U.S. by fostering a “culture of mission” and supporting “communities of missionary disciples” through its mission education programs. Maryknoll is seeking a Mission Educator - Promoter to work primarily with the teams and projects focused on Young Adults, Hispanic Leaders, Catechists and Teachers.
This is a remote position that requires in person attendance at some meetings and gatherings in the Seattle area, as well as other travel within the U.S. and occasionally international travel for immersion experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with strategic partners to promote mission and foster communities of missionary disciples both locally and nationally
- Develop, promote and provide mission formation/education events. opportunities and resources
- Participate in and coordinate mission immersion trips
- Participate in Maryknoll’s fundraising efforts, including Mission Appeals, as needed

The successful candidate will be charged with supporting and enhancing the wellness / daily lives of the Maryknoll Society Members utilizing a person centered care model. - The position will require strong assessment skills relating to Members’ physical, emotional, behavioral and spiritual needs.
- Experience working with elderly individuals who are dealing with issues such as physical and emotional loss, illness, depression, culture transitions (crossing borders) etc.
- Requires good listening skills, and the ability to observe and respond as an advocate for Members’ needs.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding Society Members, protecting PHI and EPHI in all its forms and observing federally mandated HIPAA regulations.
- Experience with case management and developing best practice initiatives and policies.
- Ability to work 5 days per week with the possibility of additional hours based upon Member’s needs.
- Must have a valid California Driver’s License
- Drive Members to and from appointments when needed

We are searching for a C.N.A. or HHA experienced in long-term care who will be responsible for delivering hands on patient care under the direct supervision of the Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Collaborates with nursing staff and Society members to ensure efficient care delivery based on member, unit and facility needs.
• Utilizes knowledge of Society member’s age and cultural diversity as it relates to the provision of care.
• At the direction of Director/DON/Charge Nurse travels/accompanies Society Members who are sent out via Ambulance or need assistance at external care facilities.
• Relays pertinent information to hospital personnel and information from the hospital to the Nurse Supervisor/Nurse regarding care and or staff when relieved.
• Ensure safety of Society members, assist with their needs, advocate and communicate status with above.
• Must have C.N.A. or HHA certification
• Must be experienced in Long Term Geriatric care or have comparable experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and comply with Maryknoll policy regarding driving a Society vehicle.
• Must have a High diploma, maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA requirements.
