- Collaborate with Internal Auditor on development and changes to audit plan
- Assist the Manager of Internal Auditor in performing periodic risk assessments at business unit level and organization wide level
- Plan and perform financial, operational and IT compliance audits
- Responsible for documenting audit procedures using audit management software
- Identify the root causes of control failures or areas of improvements and recommend corrective actions
- Review controls over information technology in areas such as data security (access), systems development and implementation, and business system capabilities
- Maintain electronic audit documentation (using data analysis software) and evidence to support findings and recommendations
- Communicate findings, opportunities and observations to all levels of management
- Assist in the implementation of automated audit techniques to improve audit efficiencies
- Update Internal Audit Manual policies and procedures based on evolving audit work performed
- Provide periodic training and consulting services to business units on compliance, fraud prevention and/or other financial and IT-related areas
- Perform special audits, investigations, and/or ad-hoc projects as assigned by the General Council or Audit Committee
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Information Systems, Economics or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Internal Audit or related audit consulting and/or advisory engagements
- Certification or certification in progress as one of the following: CIA(Certified Internal Auditor), CFE(Certified Fraud Examiner), CISA(Certified Information Systems Auditor), CRMA(Certified Risk Management Assurance) etc. required
- Strong proficiency in internal auditing principles and best practices
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of IIA Standards
- Demonstrated knowledge of COSO Integrated Frameworks for Internal Control and Enterprise Risk Management
- Understanding or familiarity with General IT Controls (GITC) and COBIT
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in Galvanize(ACL), IDEA, Tableau or Python to develop data analytical audit techniques
- Experience in Not-for-Profit and/or Governmental Sector is required.
- Travel required: approximately 5%

- Develop and maintain productive relationships with authors and prospective authors, groups, and organizations.
- Attend academic and other conferences.
- Review submitted manuscripts for quality and appropriateness for the Orbis program.
- Reject inappropriate manuscripts.
- Maintain delivery and publication schedules with authors.
- Prepare materials for periodic launches of new products, catalog and cover copy, and contribute to successful marketing and launch of new titles.
- Master-edit and, as needed, line-edit manuscripts for production.
- Graduate-level education in religious studies, theology, or related field.
- Understanding of book publishing industry (5 years or more practical work in publishing).
- Excellent writing skills, ability to master-edit, rewrite, direct revision of works for cogency and literary style.
- Understanding of basic editorial functions.
- Knowledge of the audiences for Orbis Books, including academic, religious and general trade.
- Capacity to work with inexperienced writers (helping them shape projects) as well as doctoral-level scholars in areas of Orbis specialization; diplomatic skills and ability to work effectively with others.
- Basic computer and word-processing skills.

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with strategic partners to promote mission and foster communities of missionary disciples both locally and nationally
- Develop, promote and provide mission formation/education events. opportunities and resources
- Participate in and coordinate mission immersion trips
- Participate in Maryknoll’s fundraising efforts, including Mission Appeals, as needed
- Promote a culture for missionary vocations including the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers
- Collaborate with other Maryknoll Mission Promoters in the U.S.to support mission education initiatives
- B.A. or B.S. required, graduate work preferred or equivalent experience
- A passion for God’s mission as shown by Jesus and a drive to be part of and help create “communities of missionary disciples” in the local U.S. Church
- Familiarity with and acceptance of social teaching and contemporary theology and in good standing with the Roman Catholic Church, with the ability to meet the criteria for working within local dioceses
- Ability to work independently AND work collaboratively on a team, with a strong sense of flexibility, creativity, and adaptability
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally; evening and weekend work required
- Good public and interpersonal communication skills and particularly presentation and facilitation ability and skills, as well as promotion, organizational and community building skills
- Strong ability and skills to write clearly and concisely
- Previous mission-focused, Hispanic ministry, young adult ministry and/or teaching/catechetical experience preferred
- Motor vehicle, good driving record and automobile insurance or other means of transportation necessary for the job; satisfactory credit report, drug and criminal records screening
- Ability to use technology including Microsoft Office, Google products, Hubspot, Basecamp, video conferencing and social media, etc.
- Fluency in written and spoken English required and in Spanish preferred.

- The position will require strong assessment skills relating to Members’ physical, emotional, behavioral and spiritual needs.
