Lettershop, Print and Ship Manager

Job Description:
Oversee all functions of the Lettershop, Printing, and Shipping and Receiving units. Lead, motivate and deploy personnel to ensure all production deadlines are met. Manage Maryknoll Center copier/printer fleet. Aid all Lettershop, Print and Ship equipment: forecast replacements, manage maintenance and supply.
Prepare, manage, and optimize department budget including postal expenditures and automation. Oversee Maryknoll Center mailing services (Interoffice, USPS, FedEx, UPS) Monitor warehouse inventory and management to optimize shipping and receiving function. Manage assignments for other Maryknoll expressions (e.g. Maryknoll Lay Missioners, Maryknoll Sisters) as required.
This is an Essential Service position. Essential Services Personnel are expected to report to work under all circumstances, including inclement weather-related conditions, holidays, etc. They are to adhere to the shift schedules established by their supervisors or as directed by them.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A minimum of 5 years of management experience a comparable Lettershop, Print and Ship unit.
- Knowledge of USPS Business Customer Gateway, pre-sorted, and bulk nonprofit and media mailing requirements for domestic and international mail.
- Knowledge of domestic and international UPS/FedEx systems and programs.
- Perform regular comparisons of shipping rates and carriers to identify the most cost-effective and efficient options.
- Knowledge of the Printing-industry, paper and bindery functions.
- Experienced and highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to change with technology and the enhancement of programs required.
- Experience with AccuZip, BCC Software and Unit4 ERP is preferred.

Salary: $100,000 per year
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
