Father John Barth, M.M. is directly involved in Maryknoll’s food distribution program in South Sudan. He drives to Uganda to pick up food and return it to his local parish to distribute to the hungry in the village of Isohe.
“Our parish needs to build a well,” says Fr. Barth. “We can’t count on the rain anymore. And, we’ll be able to sell some of our water to help cover operating expenses at the parish and at our local hospital.”
JOIN US and your gift to Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers will make sure that all those we serve — in East Africa and in every one of our mission initiatives throughout the world — are cared for with the respect they deserve, and receive the compassion of Jesus Christ.
