(Cambodia) Seedling of Hope – Adult Project
Seedling of Hope for Adults improves the quality of life of destitute people living with its HIV/AIDS by providing services and access to services that promotes a healthier and viable life while families are kept together enabling parents to care for their children which prevents the incidence of orphaned and vulnerable children.
The program has supported appoximately 352 (male: 129, female:223) people living with HIV and AIDS in poverty in Phnom Penh and Kandal province. Of the total, 8 male and 4 female have a disability, and 15 are pregnant women. The services provided include home-based care, access to necessary medicine and medical services, psycho-social support, livelihood and shelter if needed. Building houses and house repairs are done in partnership with Habitat for Humanity.
