Charitable non-profit organization in Westchester is looking for a Human Resources Associate.
We are seeking an individual to support HR Management in all aspects of the day to day Human Resources operations, including, but not limited to, support in implementation, maintenance and monitoring of 4 major HR areas. Individual will report to 3 Managers (Benefits, Payroll and HR) The HR Associate will be involved in nearly all programs and services that relate to the organization’s Human Resources department in the following area:
• General clerical and administrative maintenance
• Employee health and welfare benefits
• Payroll administration
• Recruiting and staffing
Individual must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, communications skills and ability to deal effectively with a variety of people and situations. Excellent skills to record and disseminate meeting notes and maintain computerized records. Bi-lingual a plus (Spanish). General knowledge of HR function as a result of previous work experience in a HR Department. B.S. Degree and knowledge of principles of personnel administration. Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity. Ability to work with limited supervision. Resourcefulness and ability to work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines. (MS Word, MS Excel, HRIS system and ADP Workforce Now. Experience with desktop publishing software (Illustrator, Page Maker, Photoshop) is a plus. Notary Public plus.
