We are seeking a High Level Professional reporting directly to the COO who will be responsible for the development of the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers Direct Marketing strategy and implementation of all related programs.
Direct Marketing initiative, in collaboration with the Gift Planning within the overarching Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers Mission Advancement Division is responsible for inspiring current donors and acquiring new donors to support their Mission efforts while continuing to nurture existing donor loyalty. This will be accomplished through the development of a comprehensive relationship-building strategy including cultivation and conversion by instituting a robust calendar of short and long-range direct marketing programs Expertise in strategic and tactical planning, forecasting, budgeting, peer group assessment, designing, production oversight and evaluation of all activities, programs and the Direct Marketing staff.
Individual must have proven experience with documented results in maximizing direct marketing income through both established and innovative fundraising techniques. Effective use of both direct mail and digital cultivation is required. Proven success in digital fundraising campaign development and execution. Monitor, evaluate and report on all direct marketing fundraising initiatives. Develop and recommend alternative fundraising and cultivation programs. Leverage ad hoc fundraising opportunities as they occur. Coordinate graphics, printing and acquisition programs with outside vendors, as needed.
Individual must have a Minimum 15+ years not-for-profit direct mail and digital fundraising experience. Candidates with experience in Catholic or religious fundraising are preferred. Prior experience in the preparation and oversight of a substantial budget is required.
Certification: CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) is required. ACFRE (Advanced Certified Fundraising Executive) is desirable but not mandatory.
Individual must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Effective in cross functional collaboration with solid interpersonal skills. Highly proficient in project management with proven success in leveraging donor databases to identify growth opportunities, goal development, target audience selection, tracking and evaluation, planning, organizing and directing. Experienced in the use of all digital marketing tools (website content development, email campaigns, social media content). High level of computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office and spreadsheets.
