The Bukundi parish has an outstation called Lukali, which has about 800 members. They have raised money for the building and have been able to do the basic structures. They need more financial help in order to complete the building and its final touches to make the outstation suitable for holding the sacraments.

(Tanzania) Renovations for Bugando Center CPE Facility

The Bugando Medical Center has within its walls the CPE Facility. This facility serves as housing, meeting room and living quarters for up to 18 students attending the 12-week course that trains them for pastoral skills as they work as chaplains at the hospital. The facility is in need of 21 mattresses, 21 mosquito nets, 30 curtains, seat cushions, a photo copy machine and a printer/scanner. In addition, the kitchen requires renovations that includes the floors, sink, roof, painting and general carpentry work.

The Bolivian Community of the Missionary Sisters Cristo Sediente (or commonly known as The Aymara Mission Community) is a Bolivian congregation founded on April 15, 1981 in the Maryknoll parish of Achacachi in the Bolivian Altiplano. Its founding purpose was to give missionary service to the neediest in rural areas. Over the years, the Sisters have expanded their membership to include candidates from other cultures in Bolivia and to engage in mission in urban as well as rural areas especially among recently arrived migrants to the cities.

The main church of the Remate Parish has been under construction for over three years. So far, the parts of the structure that are in place are the walls, roof and rough cement floor. The completion can be slow because the funds mostly come from the generosity of the poor parishioners who also donate their time and labor. Our sister parish in Illinois have donated the money for the roof.

La Posadita del Buen Pastor (Little Inn of the Good Shepherd) was founded in 1998 by Sr. Victoria Mestas, a Good Shepherd Sister. The purpose of the project is to provide shelter, food and medical care for children and women with HIV/AIDS.
