CARES Act

In this time of pandemic, your support is more valuable than ever.

Now there is an additional benefit to supporting the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers.

Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers serve people in 22 nations in Asia, Africa and Latin America where the COVID19 pandemic threatens people’s health and welfare, just as it has here in the United States. Both here and abroad, Maryknoll missioners and staff remain in place, doing the work of Mission and helping the least among us build lives and communities rooted in faith and love.

Supporting this work is more important than ever, and with the passage of the CARES Act your donation not only helps the least of our brethren, it may also lighten your tax burden. That’s because your charitable contributions (up to a total of $300) made during 2020 can be deducted from your Federal income tax, even if you do not itemize. Taxpayers who itemize can save more because the limit on giving as a percentage of adjusted gross income has been lifted.
